TCAAP land development changes

On Jan. 16, 2024, the Ramsey County Board of Commissioners approved a purchase and sale agreement of a 40-acre plot of the Rice Creek Commons development area (formerly the Twin Cities Army Ammunition Plant), Outlot A.

On Jan. 16, 2024, the Ramsey County Board of Commissioners approved the purchase of a 40-acre plot, Outlot A, to be integrated into the original Rice Creek Commons development area, formerly known as the Twin Cities Army Ammunition Plant (TCAAP).

Following their regional tournament win in Fargo, North Dakota this past June, the Mounds View Drone Club moved on to compete at the national tournament. After the two day competition in Manse, Indiana, the team emerged victorious, beating the 11 other teams from around the country and taking first place.

Located in the ILC and what used to be room 220 DE and F, the newly opened design space is a space for innovation and creativity. Created by the school to extend the STEM philosophy, the new design space comes with state of the art 3-D printers and laser engravers that are usable free of charge.

During the current school year, a majority of the Gender Sexuality Alliance (GSA) posters advertising meeting dates have been torn down and vandalized. Although GSA is a school-sanctioned club under Diversity Council, club members believe Mounds View has done little to address the problem.
